How to Apply for Best Results

Start with dry, styled hair.

Step 1 - Create the foundation with 10X. Part the hair to expose the thinning area. Dab a small amount of 10X Hair Powder onto the visible scalp, working in sections until the contrast between your scalp and hair is softened. Blend gently. At the front, stop short of the hairline for a natural edge.

Step 2 - Build fullness with fibers. Shake Caboki Hair Fibers lightly over the same area. Gently pat to distribute the fibers. Add a little at a time, then check the result in good light before applying more.

Optional: Finish with a light mist of Caboki Fiber Hold Spray (or any light hairspray) to lock the fibers in place all day.

Can I use either product on its own?

Yes. Use 10X when your main concern is visible scalp, or fibers when you want existing hair to look thicker. Use them together when you want both effects.

Will the system cover a completely bald area?

10X can color visible scalp, apply a thin layer of hair fibers, they will adhere to the 10X foundation layer. Do not use excessive amount of hair fiber.

Should I choose the same shade for both products?

Start with the shade that best matches your existing hair for each product. If you’re between shades, apply lightly and check the blend in natural light before adding more. 

Is the result waterproof?

10X is designed to hold through sweat, rain, and swimming. Hair fibers can withstand sweat and light rain, but they may shift in heavy rain or when submerged. The finished look is therefore not fully waterproof.

How do I remove the products?

Wash your hair with regular shampoo.

Do I need to use a lot of product?

No. Start with a small amount of powder on the visible scalp, then add fibers gradually. You can build coverage where needed while keeping the finish natural.
