Caboki—pronounced kah-boh-kee—was founded by a dedicated team of scientists and professional makeup artists who set out in the early 2000s to find a better solution for thinning hair.

At the time, traditional hair fibers relied heavily on animal-derived keratin and harsh synthetics. These formulas often felt heavy, irritated sensitive scalps, and worst of all, could develop an embarrassing greenish tint when exposed to sweat or sunlight—a color shift that became glaringly obvious under cameras.

We knew there had to be a better way. Our mission was to create a cleaner, more comfortable hair fiber that eliminated the common drawbacks of traditional keratin hair fibers without compromising on performance.
